SBFM and PureGym donate £1,000 to British Heart Foundation

Giving back is at the heart of what we do. We strive for success every day, but success isn’t achieved alone. That’s why we we’re delighted to team up with PureGym and donate £1,000 to British Heart Foundation (BHF) in order to support lifesaving research into heart and circulatory diseases.

Heart and circulatory disease doesn’t discriminate

When it comes to giving back, it’s important to remember that some things are bigger than us all. Research funded by British Heart Foundation into heart and circulatory diseases is invaluable to everyone, no matter who you are or where you live.

Being able to donate this money to help fund lifesaving research is fantastic, and we’re thankful to all our clients and partners who have worked with us to support the donation.

The money will help BHF continue to fund research into cures and treatments, to give people more time with the ones they love.

We want to make an impact

Making an impact is one of our core values, and this doesn’t just apply to the work we do with our clients.

We want to make an impact not just in Facilities Management but in the wider world, and we’re keen to make sure that our business is always socially responsible. This is why we’re delighted to be able to support charities such as BHF.

Playing as a team

One of the reasons we chose to donate to British Heart Foundation, on top of the amazing work they do, is because they’re one of PureGym’s chosen charity partners.

As part of their partnership, PureGym offer free blood pressure checks at their 370+ gyms. They also have retail donation boxes in their gyms, allowing their members to donate preloved items to BHF retail shops.

PureGym also offer their members the opportunity to donate through in gym activity and by adding 25p to their monthly membership, which goes directly to BHF.

The partnership between PureGym and British Heart Foundation is truly great, and as a partner of PureGym, we’re delighted to be able to support this.

Charity starts at home

As part of our own charitable goals, we’ve recently signed the Age-friendly Employer Pledge. The aim of this pledge is to tackle ageism in the workplace and to prevent elderly people from being overlooked when it comes to hiring.
